RegistrationForm.co.nz is a collaboration between a web developer and a number of event organisers.

It was set up as a way to spread the cost of web presence and registration, and to develop tools and ideas that could be reused again and again. All events hosted on the site benefit from the experience of past events and from the continuous improvement of the site.

The guiding principles of the site are the security and privacy of your personal information, and we always try to use the best security tools available. For this reason we highly recommend you use the latest version of your web browser. Your personal information is never sent unencrypted to or from this website.

Who's "we"?

Actually, 99% of the time, we are just one person - Geoff Lankow, freelance software engineer and youth worker from East Auckland. The plural form sounds better, and I like to think it reflects the 1% - friends who help with ideas, inspiration and quality control. I've been involved in a number of events around the place and the idea evolved out of those.

Is this website for profit?

Strictly speaking, you could say that it is, but it won't make anyone rich any time soon. The charges for hosting a form here cover the ongoing costs of the website and the rest helps pay for the considerable development time involved.

Privacy Policy

We value your privacy, that's why this website was set up. Here's what you should know regarding your privacy:

• Your personal data is never transmitted to or from this website unencrypted.
• We won't use your data for any purpose other than that for which you gave it. Event hosts are required to agree to our Hosts Agreement.
• Events, and all associated data are removed from our database 1 month from the end of the event.
• Our database is backed up every 24 hours. We keep the backup files for up to six months.
• Our Facebook and Twitter apps do nothing except collect a number unique to you for identification purposes.

We highly recommend using the latest version of your web-browsing software. In particular, we recommend NOT using Internet Explorer version 6 or 7.

Hosts Agreement

You may not host an event on this website without first agreeing to these terms:

• Our users are trusting you with their personal information. You must respect that trust by doing all you can to keep this information within your organisation. You must only use this information for the purpose for which it was collected. In particular you may not sell, give or lend this information to any other organisation without the permission of the person who submitted it.
• You may not use this website to publish or link to illegal or inappropriate material. This includes but is not limited to pornographic, defamatory, obscene or offensive material, gambling or drug-related content, and malicious, harmful or disruptive software.
• It is your responsibility to ensure you have the rights to any content you publish on the site. If you believe that any material posted on this website is in violation of your ownership rights, please email support@registrationform.co.nz immediately.
• Some of the features available on our site allow you to send email to others. You may not use these tools to send spam or any other content which would violate the privacy policy or this agreement.
• The website owner may remove or modify all or part of your event at any time if they believe you have broken this agreement. No refund will be given.
